In the statement of the Ministry of Defence, it is stated that Mojsilovic pointed out that the Serbian Army is ready to fully execute every order of the Supreme Commander, in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia and the United Nations Charter.
He emphasised that the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija are exposed to a terrible pogrom by the Pristina regime, adding that the Serbs are a daily target of Albin Kurti's terror and that their only fault is that they have Serbian names and surnames and do not want to leave their hearth.
The Chief of the General Staff said that, in accordance with all the facts, and for the sake of correct and professional cooperation, he informed the KFOR commander that the Serbian Army is following the events with great anxiety and demands that urgent measures be taken to protect the Serbian people and their right to survival.
This is our plea to the KFOR units and other international security institutions in Kosovo and Metohija, Mojsilovic emphasised and added that the Serbian Army fulfilled and fulfills all its international legal obligations.
He pointed out to obligations arising from United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244, the Military-Technical Agreement and all temporary procedures for work and work regime along the administrative line, and added that today it is clear that the international community is not fulfilling its obligations.
