Zoran Loncar
In a statement to the Beta news agency, Loncar said that at the meeting, they stressed the importance of the continuation of reforms in Serbia and especially of the conclusion of cooperation with the International Crime Tribunal for former Yugoslavia (ICTY). Loncar added they also discussed Serbia's achievements regarding state administration reforms.
He announced that he will also meet with representatives of the Regional Cooperation Directorate today, who will brief him on how EU pre-accession funds function and the way candidate countries can make use of them.
According to Loncar, Serbia will thus be able to have a preview of what awaits, that is what future steps it should take once all obstacles are overcome and the Stabilisation and Association Agreement signed, as is expected, this November.
