Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Milos Vucevic met today with Minister of Defence of Hungary Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky on the sidelines of the first session of the Strategic Council for Cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and Hungary in Palic.

On that occasion, Vucevic assessed that the cooperation between the two countries in the field of defence is very substantial, as well as that there is potential for its further strengthening, especially in the areas of military-military and military-technical cooperation, which would also affect the improvement of the overall relations between Serbia and Hungary.
He emphasised that in very challenging times for European and global security, mutual support and cooperation between Serbia and Hungary is extremely important for preserving peace and stability in the region.
The Hungarian Minister of Defence also assessed that cooperation in the field of defence between the two countries is very developed and that its additional intensification is expected in all fields of mutual interest, which will positively affect the improvement of the overall bilateral relations of the two countries.
