Visit of Grand Mufti of Egypt to Serbia contribution to development of cooperation between two countries

Dacic pointed out that the Grand Mufti’s visit to Serbia is the first such visit in the history of the two countries, and that Serbia attaches great importance to it and believes that it will contribute to the further development of friendly relations and cooperation between Serbia and Egypt.
He expressed his belief that during his stay in Serbia, the Grand Mufti will have the opportunity to see that all religious communities are equal and that Christians and Muslims live here in peace, respecting each other and jointly preserving peace and co-existence.
Mufti Allam pointed out that he is against any extremism and expressed satisfaction that religious diversity is respected in Serbia as in Egypt.
