Serbia committed to cooperation with EU in all areas

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic spoke today with International Special Envoy for the Implementation of EU Sanctions David O'Sullivan, who on this occasion expressed his deepest condolences over the recent tragic events in the Republic of Serbia.

Dacic pointed out that the Republic of Serbia is committed to cooperation with the European Union in all areas, with full respect for international law and obligations arising from the Stabilisation and Association Agreement and the Negotiating Framework.

Also, the Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasised that Serbia will continue to be a credible and reliable partner of the European Union.

Special Envoy O'Sullivan, whose work focuses on the engagement in dialogue with third countries and cooperation in joint actions aimed at preventing the circumvention of sanctions, said that during his visit to Belgrade he had substantive discussions with President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali, Minister of European Integration Tanja Miscevic, Minister of Domestic and Foreign Trade Tomislav Momirovic and Director of the Customs Administration Branko Radujko.

He thanked for the open and constructive attitude of the Serbian side and its readiness for further cooperation, according to a statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
