This donation helped renovate the school gym and roof, while ten classrooms were equipped with new furniture and computers.
Vuksanovic said that investing in schools is of great importance because school should be a comfortable place where children can enjoy their childhood, and added that this depends on donators, as well as on the local self-government and the Ministry of Education and Sport.
The Japanese Ambassador thanked the students for their warm welcome and told them to take good care of their school property.
Nagai also visited the elementary school "Kralj Petar Prvi", the recipient of the other Japanese donation of €42,000.
