First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic today exchanged opinions with US Ambassador to Serbia Christopher Hill about the current situation in the region, especially after yesterday's elections in Kosovo and Metohija.
Dacic pointed out that Serbia is committed to political dialogue, as well as strengthening economic and bilateral relations with the United States, and is interested in cooperation in all other areas where there are potentials, but they are not adequately used.
He emphasised Serbia's commitment to the development of regional cooperation and added that the preservation of peace and stability remains one of the main priorities.
The officials agreed that the continuation of the dialogue is the only way that will bring concrete results, according to the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
