Serbian Minister of Justice Zoran Stojkovic said last night that the agreement on cooperation, that he has signed with Albanian Minister of Justice Aldo Bumci, will contribute to improving cooperation between the Serbian and Albanian ministries of justice in the fight against organised crime, terrorism, human-trafficking, money-laundering and corruption.
Stojkovic, who together with Serbian Minister of Interior Dragan Jocic is participating in the international conference on fight against terrorism and human-trafficking in the Greek city of Loutraki, said in a statement to the news agency Tanjug that on February 9 an agreement will also be signed with the Greek Ministry of Justice.
He explained that the agreement with Albania has been signed in accordance with the obligations undertaken from the resolution that was signed in Vienna by all the ministers of southeastern Europe, and that are related to coordination of regulations and advancement of cooperation between countries of the region that are on their path towards the European Union.
He said that the issue is the needs of all the countries of the region, which are successful fight against terrorism and human-trafficking and the eradication of corruption, and added that these are problems that no country can resolve on its own.
