Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Miroljub Labus today received Belgian Ambassador to Serbia-Montenegro Luc Liebaut on the occasion of a farewell meeting, as Liebaut is soon to leave his ambassadorship to Serbia-Montenegro. At the meeting, Labus pointed out that the Serbian negotiating team on the Stabilisation and Association Agreement with the EU is ready for the next round of talks.

Labus said he is convinced that the next round of talks will be successfully completed.
Liebaut reiterated that the European Commission thinks the Serbian team is very well-prepared, but added that it is highly important for Serbia to conclude cooperation with the Tribunal in The Hague as a condition for a successful completion of talks with the EU.
Labus and Liebaut agreed that the issue of referendum in Montenegro, as well as that of the future status of Kosovo-Metohija, should not slow down Serbia's integration process.
