Parivodic stated that the “ComTrade Technology Centre” in Belgrade, is similar to those that exist in the US, Germany and France, and represents the vision of modern Serbia, a hi-tech country with good ideas, where people live well and where the rate of employment is high.
He said that the new technological centre is the best evidence of successful business by “ComTrade” in the previous 15 years and added that it provides a reason for the young and expertly qualified population of Serbia to stay in the country since the company will offer quality jobs that will help professionals realise their ambitions.
Parivodic said that the government will give full support to the company and make liberalisation of business easy for all companies in Serbia.
President of “ComTrade” Veselin Jevrosimovic said that the centre, built at the cost of €12 million, covers an area of 9,000 square meters and that more than 500 people will be employed in it, 70% of whom will be highly skilled.
Jevrosimovic said that within a few months the building of a programmers’ camp covering an area of 16,000 square meters should begin, which would offer employment to more than 1000 programmers.
The company “ComTrade Group” has 12 member firms, and is also a regional leader in information and communication technology in southeastern Europe.
