By sectors, ore and stone mining rose 10.6%, the processing industry rose 11.5%, and the production and distribution of electricity, gas, and water rose 28.6% against last year’s average.
The output of capital goods in December 2005 rose against the 2004 average, of intermediate goods, except for energy, by 11.9%, of non-durable consumer goods by 21.2%, and energy by 20.6%, whereas the output of durable consumer goods fell by 1.9% and the production of capital goods by 13.3%.
An increase in industrial production in December 2005 against the 2004 average was recorded in 13 areas making up 69% of total industrial production, but there was also a decline in 16 areas which account for 31% of total industrial output.
