First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Ivica Dacic spoke today with the ambassadors of the Quinte countries at the OSCE Mission in Vienna about the security situation in Europe and Serbia's European integration.
Dacic pointed out that Serbia values good cooperation with the OSCE as one of the most important regional security platforms for dialogue, as well as its missions in Serbia.
He particularly pointed out the importance of the status neutrality of the OSCE field mission in Kosovo and Metohija, whose mandate is to monitor respect for human rights, the rights of communities and the strengthening of democratic institutions.
They also discussed the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, with a mutual assessment that it is necessary to preserve peace and reduce tensions, with a return to dialogue, which is in mutual interest.
The First Deputy Prime Minister emphasised that respect and implementation of the agreements signed so far are important for Serbia.
The officials exchanged opinions on the challenges that the OSCE is facing in the current geopolitical circumstances, as well as the possibilities for overcoming them.
