Gojkovic underlined at a conference of ministers of culture, at which Davos Baukultur Alliance 2023 was founded, that Serbia remains a reliable partner of the new alliance, whose goals have been respected since 2018, when the first declaration was made.
The understanding of the importance of culture in all segments of modern society is increasingly present globally. However, connecting the cultural and economic sectors, governments and non-governmental sectors, is still far from the perspective of a complete observation of culture. That is why the contribution of today's forum to this issue is of inestimable importance, she said.
The ministers of culture today agreed on the Memorandum from Davos and signed the Declaration, which marked the establishment of Davos Baukultur Alliance 2023.
In the declaration, it is pointed out that the European ministers of culture, ahead of the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, launched the Alliance, which unites Baukultur actors from the public and private sectors and civil society.
It was emphasised that high-quality Baukultur is a strong political initiative and implies a conscious, quality-oriented approach to infrastructure, public spaces and landscapes.
