First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic emphasised today, during the talks Counselor of the United States Department of State Derek Chollet, Serbia's strategic determination to improve all forms of cooperation with the US.

Dacic pointed out that we should continue reminding of the historical alliance of the two countries and peoples, with the aim of further strengthening bilateral relations.
Both sides expressed their determination to intensify the political dialogue and exchange visits of high and top state officials from Serbia and the US.
The First Deputy Prime Minister expressed his willingness to visit the United States of America in the near future.
On this occasion, the interlocutors exchanged opinions on regional issues and the current situation in Kosovo and Metohija, as well as the possibilities for achieving progress in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.
Chollet conveyed the interest of US President Joseph Biden in achieving full regional stability and prosperity for all citizens of the Western Balkan region, and at the same time welcomed Dacic's willingness to visit Washington.
