First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic and special representative for the Western Balkans of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania Ambassador Adrian Davidoiu expressed satisfaction with the level of bilateral relations between the two countries and stated that those relations are characterised by traditional friendship, closeness and cooperation.

Dacic expressed his gratitude to Romania for its principled position regarding the preservation of Serbia's territorial integrity, support for our country's positions regarding the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, as well as the continuous support that Romania provides to us in the process of European integration.
Davidoiu informed Dacic about the readiness to strengthen the institutional and economic prerequisites for the accelerated accession of the countries of the Western Balkans to the European Union.
During the talks, it was particularly pointed out that there is significant room for improving economic cooperation.
