The Serbian Ministry of Finance stated today that the state telecommunication and postal company PTT Srbija signed a loan contract with Hypo Alpe-Adria Bank International on taking over Mobtel's accounts receivable worth €71.4 million, thus becoming the biggest creditor of this mobile telephone operator.
The statement says that signing of this contract is of prime importance for the state, specifying that PTT Srbija has been granted a long-term loan with 15-year repayment period, three-year grace period and annual interest rate of 4.3%.
