In the first allocation of financial resources from the Games of Chance Fund, eight municipalities received a total of 14 million dinars out of 100 million dinars collected in the fund.
Loncar stressed that 56 municipalities took part in the competition for financial resources and announced another tender for distribution of funds realised through games of chance, in the total amount of 100 million dinars.
In the first allocation of funds the greatest amount went to the Rekovac municipality in the Sumadija District – a total of 3.37 million dinars for the purpose of severance payments. The second largest sum, three million dinars, was allocated to the Topola municipality for reconstruction and modernisation of sanitary and rain sewage system.
Two million dinars were allocated to the Knic municipality for solving current water supply issues in its local communities, while 1.5 million went to the Svilajnac municipality for construction of new water supply system.
The Batocina municipality received 1.34 million dinars for construction of a water supply system, while the Raca municipality received 1.15 million dinars for severance payments for employees in the local administration.
One million dinars were allocated to the Varvarin municipality to be used for modernisation of work of municipal authorities, while the Paracin municipality received around 750,000 dinars for building electronic network for the purposes of local authorities.
Loncar also announced that in the forthcoming period, 12 municipalities from the south of Serbia will also receive official decisions on allocation of financial resources from the same fund.
