Labus said that when it comes to the issue of economic plans of the government for the upcoming period, in the coming years it will be very important to secure a growth of the gross domestic product (GDP) at a rate of five percent annually and a growth in exports of about 15 percent to strengthen domestic economy.
He presented the statistic that in 2004 for the purpose of establishing SMEs in Serbia 50 days were required, and by the end of 2005 from 11 to 12 days.
He said that by the end of November in Serbia around 8,500 new SMEs were founded and expressed expectation that by the end of the year this number will grow to 10,000.
