Radomir Naumov
Together with his advisors from the ministry and the CEOs and experts of the Electric Power Industry of Serbia, the electricity transmission company “Elektromreza Srbije” and the public enterprises Transnafta and Srbijagas, Naumov will present to European Commissioner for Energy Andris Piebalgs and representatives of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Energy and Transport the policies and plans for further development of the Serbian energy sector.
At the seat of the European Union, the officials will discuss the position, importance and abilities of the electric power and gas sectors in Serbia in the process of formation of a joint energy market.
On December 16, the second day of the Serbian delegation's visit to Brussels, the representatives of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Energy and Transport will inform the delegation from Serbia about the current situation on the European electricity and gas market, as well as the implementation of EU directives in those sectors.
The Serbian and European experts will, in the form of bilateral talks, discuss the opportunities and risks that accompany the development of the electric power market. They will also discuss possible reactions to implementation of directives in the electricity sector, as well as their mandatory implementation when it comes to protection of the environment.
