Speedy completion of cooperation with ICTY in Serbia's interest

Serbian Minister of Public Administration and Local Self- Government and member of the National Council for Cooperation with the Hague Tribunal Zoran Loncar said today that it is in Serbia's interest to conclude the cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) as soon as possible.

On occasion of the report of the ICTY Chief Prosecutor Carla del Ponte to the Security Council, Loncar said in a statement to the Tanjug news agency that Serbia will do all it takes to conclude this cooperation in the shortest possible period, adding that it is best for the country to fulfil all its international obligations quickly and energetically.
