Predrag Bubalo
At the opening of the factory, which covers an area of 25,000 square metres in the industrial zone of Zemun, Bubalo said that the Serbian Development Fund supported this project with 60 million dinars and thus sent out a strong signal to all potential investors that the state will set aside funds for every good project.
Bubalo said that the production plant is equipped with state-of-the-art machines and pointed out that the factory plans to export a third of its output to markets in neighbouring countries.
The Europolis company’s new factory is the only one in the Balkans to have modern equipment from Austrian manufacturer EVG and Swiss machines from Slater, and it has top quality control systems that have been established in line with the highest standards in the production of construction materials.
The factory also has a modern laboratory in order to certify the quality of each product to every buyer. This will increase the safety and quality of domestic construction engineering.
Director of Europolis Vladan Zecevic said that the value of the investment is between €5 and €7 million and that it has been realised with the help of commercial banks, leasing and the Serbian Development Fund’s loan.
Such a production line does not exist in this area, especially the system of quality and certificates that will be a guarantee that all our products will be 100 percent safe, Zecevic pointed out.
The formal opening of the factory was also attended by Swiss Ambassador to Belgrade Wilhelm Meier, representatives of the Trade Office of the Austrian Embassy, and many construction engineers and workers.
