Labus said that the adoption of the budget by the Serbian parliament has confirmed the certainty of public financing and economic policy, while at the same time serving to reinforce the government’s stability at a time when that is necessary for talks on the future status of Kosovo-Metohija, as well as the negotiations on the Stabilisation and Association Agreement with the EU.
Kalfin conveyed to the Serbian Deputy Prime Minister the full support of Bulgaria regarding the European integration of Serbia.
Labus and Kalfin reached agreement in their assessment that mutual cooperation and support between countries of the region is very important for the process of European integration.
The issue of further development and improvement of economic cooperation between the two countries was also discussed, as well as joint participation in infrastructure projects important for the whole region, such as gasification and the construction of the Nis-Sofia motorway on Corridor 10.
