Talks with IMF continue

The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) stated today that the negotiations between the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Serbian delegation on the remaining issues concerning the completion of the sixth and last revision of the third financial arrangement have started today.

The delegations are being headed up by National Bank of Serbia Governor Radovan Jelasic and Head of the IMF Mission to Serbia-Montenegro Piritta Sorsa.
The talks will last until the end of the week and will address the influence of the planned revenues, expenditures and surplus in the budget on the reduction in public spending, as well as the pro-reform character of these legal solutions, reads the NBS statement.
