Bearing in mind that the work of night bars and night clubs has been limited since the onset of the epidemic, another form of sectoral aid has been proposed with the aim of mitigating economic consequences.
The government proposed the payment of a non-repayable assistance to night bars and night clubs, which suffered a drop in turnover of over 70 percent. The amount of the assistance will be determined by the government in a special act.
A public call for applications for establishing the right to the assistance will be published on the official Internet page of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications www.mtt.gov.rs, and the deadline for application is 15 days from the day of its publication.
The Serbian government decided to donate 100,000 Pfizer vaccines to the Czech Republic as a sign of solidarity with citizens of that country in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
The Conclusion on accepting the text of the Programme of transformation of the Tax Administration for the period from 2021 to 2025 was adopted. The aim of the programme is the creation of a modern tax administration that will ensure sustainable and predictable public finances, improve the functioning of the existing Tax Administration so that it could meet the challenges in the economic environment – in the part of collection of public revenues in the country and abroad.
Another goal of the programme is to create a competitive and respectable tax environment for both domestic and foreign investors and it represents one of the most important reform processes in the field of modernisation of the entire public administration system in Serbia.
The government made the decision to establish the Aviation Academy College, which enables formal education of pilots within the higher education system.
By developing its own capacity for the education of pilots and aeronautical technical staff, the conditions are created for meeting the needs of domestic employers in the aviation industry in the long run, and on the other hand for Serbia to participate on equal footing on the world market of educational services in the air transport sector.
The Serbian government adopted the Nature Protection Programme of the Republic of Serbia for the period from 2021 to 2023, whose main goal is the improvement of the nature protection system and the preservation of biodiversity.
The programme will focus on improving the protected areas management system, tracking climate changes and environmental pollution and the participation of the public in the decision-making in the field of environmental protection.
The government also made the decision to declare the Saint Sava Plateau and Krunski Venac in Belgrade a spatial cultural and historical unit, due to their symbolical, memorial and architectural urban qualities.
