Slight increase in average September salaries

The Serbian Statistics Office stated that an average monthly salary in the Republic of Serbia paid in September this year totalled 26,818 dinars, up 2.16 percent in nominal terms and 1.15 percent in real terms against August.
An average September net salary totalled 18,345 dinars, up 2.33 percent in nominal terms and 1.32 percent in real terms against August.
Average gross salaries in industrial sectors amounted to 25,621 dinars, up 2.1 percent and 1.09 percent in nominal and real terms respectively against August.
Net salaries in industrial sectors averaged 17,537 dinars, up 2.24 percent in nominal terms and 1.23 percent in real terms in relation to the previous month.
Average gross salaries in non-industrial sectors stood at 29,525 dinars, up 2.47 percent and 1.46 percent in nominal and real terms respectively against August.
Net salaries in non-industrial sectors paid in September went up 2.67 percent and 1.65 percent in nominal and real terms respectively, averaging 20,170 dinars.
