The Serbia-Montenegrin parliament members elected by a majority vote Zoran Stankovic to be the new Serbia-Montenegrin Minister of Defence.
46 parliament members gave their vote to Stankovic, while 33 members from Serbia and four from Montenegro voted against him.
A retired general of the Serbia-Montenegrin Army, Zoran Stankovic is a pathologist by profession and also former Head of the Military Medical Academy (VMA) in Belgrade.
