The budget revision is aimed at mitigating the consequences caused by the epidemic of the COVID-19 virus and at a significant increase in capital investments, especially in the construction of health infrastructure.
RSD 362.1 billion is set aside for capital investments in 2021, while at the level of the general government, that figure is around RSD 430 billion.
The revision increased budget revenues under the influence of better developments in certain segments of economic activity in the first quarter, as well as due to the expected effects of the implementation of an additional package of measures.
The projection of GDP growth for this year has been kept at the level of 6 percent.
Total expenditures and expenses in the amount of RSD 1,768.4 billion are planned.
The government of Serbia has adopted an amendment to the Decree granting assistance to tourist guides and tourist guides in the amount of two minimum salaries (for each month in the amount of RSD 30,900 for each tourist guide and tourist escort) by payment to the dinar current account with commercial banks.
Employees in catering and tourism will also receive assistance in the same amount of two minimum wages.
Taking into account that citizens who independently perform artistic or other cultural activities are the most vulnerable category in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic, the government of Serbia awarded non-refundable aid in the amount of more than RSD 230 million, for more than 3,100 independent artists.
Independent artists whose status has been determined by a representative association in culture will receive assistance in the amount of two minimum salaries, which will be paid in July and August.
Assistance in the amount of €60 in RSD will be paid to all citizens of the Republic of Serbia who are in the records of the National Employment Service on this day.
