Also as part of the session, the government adopted a bill on the ratification of the agreement between the governments of Serbia, Montenegro, and Iran on mutual assistance and cooperation in customs issues.
A decree on types of activities and factories requiring integrated licences as well as a decree on a programme of measures to adjust the operations of existing factories or activities in prescribed conditions were also adopted at the session.
Also, the government adopted a decree on criteria for establishing the best available techniques to implement quality standards and for establishing the maximum amount of emissions in the integrated licence.
A decree on fees and expenditures of mediators in the peaceful resolution of conflicts was also adopted. The previous decree is now amended to ensure higher efficiency in conflict resolution and the economical functioning of the Agency for Peaceful Resolution of Industrial Disputes.
The government adopted changes and amendments to the Decree on the founding of the public enterprise Transnafta engaging in the piped transportation of oil. The company will be headquartered in Pancevo.
The statutes of public enterprises Transnafta and Srbijagas were also approved at the session.
The government also adopted the information on the need to adopt a plan for the encouragement of the development of small and medium sized enterprises and entrepreneurship between 2005 and 2007.
The government also approved one-off aid totaling 105 million dinars to the most vulnerable people in Kragujevac.
The government adopted a conclusion to allocate 10 million dinars from the Fund for Kosovo-Metohija towards repairs in the Pecka Patrijarsija monastery.
The government approved six million dinars for the state’s share of financing an exhibition of the Serbian economy in Moscow, Russia, between November 29 and December 1.
The government also made a decision to set up a council for evenly balanced regional development and for regional capital investment. The council’s chairman will be Bajram Omeragic.
Bajro Gegic was appointed as state secretary at the Ministry of Education and Sport and Edib Dedeic was named state secretary at the Ministry of Capital Investment.
