The Serbian government formed today a Working group to coordinate activities on the improvement of position of the Roma, which will be chaired by Prime Minister Ana Brnabic.

The Serbian government formed today a Working group to coordinate activities on the improvement of position of the Roma, which will be chaired by Prime Minister Ana Brnabic.
The Working group will be tasked with mutual cooperation and the direction of affairs of public administration bodies, support and monitoring of the implementation of the established measures and activities to improve the position of this national minority in Serbia.
The Working group will cooperate with representatives of the National council of Roma national minorities and representatives of Roma associations, will submit a report on its work to the Prime Minister once a month and to the President of Serbia once in three months.
The Serbian government adopted a Decree on establishing special fees to be paid during the Children’s Week, which will be held on 5-11 October this year.
The Children’s Week is organised in early October every year with the aim of supporting families with children and improving society’s care for children.
This support will be collected by charging RSD 10 to 40 on each ticket sold in intercity and international transport, each postal item in internal traffic, on each ticket sold for theatre, movies or other cultural manifestation or sporting event, as well as for each sound carrier sold with a recorded content.
Around RSD 100 million are expected to be collected in this way.
For the purpose of removing consequences of floods in the Ivanjica municipality, the government has provided 50,000 litres of Euro diesel. The value of this non-repayable aid is RSD 7,145,000.
