Average salaries in Serbia increase slightly

The Serbian Statistical Office stated that an average monthly salary in the Republic of Serbia paid in August this year totalled 26,252 dinars, up 1.87 percent in nominal terms and 1.77 percent in real terms against July.
An average salary without taxes and contributions totalled 17,928 dinars, up 1.67 percent in nominal terms and 1.57 percent in real terms against July.
Average gross salaries in industrial sectors amounted to 25,093 dinars, up 2.95 percent and 2.85 percent in nominal and real terms respectively against July.
Net salaries in industrial sectors averaged 17,152 dinars, up 2.68 percent in nominal terms and 2.58 percent in real terms in relation to the previous month.
Average gross salaries in non-industrial sectors stood at 28,813 dinars, down 0.09 percent and 0.19 percent in nominal and real terms respectively against July.
Net salaries in non-industrial sectors paid in August went down 0.18 percent and 0.28 percent in nominal and real terms respectively to 19,645 dinars.
