The Serbian Privatisation Agency stated that the tender commission in charge of the implementation of the public tender for the sale of 70 percent of the socially-owned capital of the Vojvodinaput-Backaput company from Novi Sad approved the results of the tender at its second session held on September 16. It accepted the tender list according to which the Nis company from Nis is the first-ranked bidder, Alpine Mayreder Gmbh from Austria the second-ranked and Strabag from Austria ranked third.
The basic elements of the offer of the first-ranked bidder include a purchase price of €10.1 million, an investment programme worth €5.1 million, and unconditional compliance with the requirements of the social welfare programme, it is said in the statement.
After the announcement of the tender list, the Privatisation Agency and the Nis company will enter negotiations to define details of the sales contract. In the case of a successful conclusion of negotiations, the Privatisation Agency will sign an agreement on the sale of the capital with the buyer within 30 days from the commencement of negotiations, it is said in the statement.
