Raskovic-Ivic said that, by definition, decentralisation should not jeopardise anyone's rights, and the processes of decentralisation that have been launched should bring benefit to all people living in the province, it is said in the statement released by the Coordinating Centre.
During the talks with Eide, another important issue discussed was the return of refugees and the displaced to Kosovo-Metohija.
The UN Special Envoy informed Raskovic-Ivic on his future steps and the strategy of writing the report.
He said that he will also include in the report those processes that take place out of the reach of politicians and which are important for the stability in Kosovo-Metohija. He described as positive all the meetings he had as part of his visit to Belgrade.
Raskovic-Ivic highlighted the importance of political efforts in the creation of a climate of tolerance, mutual trust and the reaching of decisions after which there will be no winners and losers.
Commenting on the recent murder of two Serb youths near Strpce, the Head of the Coordinating Centre said that it is very dangerous to leave a void for extremists to place a certain type of veto every time constructive political processes take place.
