First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic confirmed that the UN Security Council will hold a video session tomorrow to present UNMIK's report on Kosovo-Metohija.
Dacic said in a statement to the Tanjug news agency that he would again point to the situation in the southern Serbian province and the problems in the dialogue, which was blocked by the introduction of fees and reciprocity measures.
He explained that this time the UN Security Council session will be held in specific circumstances, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, which also led to a change in the way the organisation itself through a video conference.
We are grateful to the Dominican Republic as chair for putting on the agenda the consideration of the status reports in Kosovo-Metohija. It is part of our earlier agreement with Member States to discuss this periodically, and it is very important that the topic is preserved on the agenda of the Security Council, the Minister said.
