By sectors, the production and distribution of electricity, gas, and water dropped 8.1 percent against last year’s average, ore and stone mining fell 2.5 percent and the processing industry 5.1 percent.
The output of capital goods in July 2005 declined 27.7 percent against the 2004 average, of durable consumer goods 12.2 percent, of energy 5.6 percent, and of non-durable consumer goods by 5.4 percent, while the production of intermediate goods rose 2.5 percent.
In the period between January and July 2005, industrial production fell 1.9 percent against the same period in 2004. The decline has been recorded in 18 areas which make up 32 percent of the total industrial production, and the increase in 11 areas which account for 68 percent of the total industrial output.
