With the support of the Canadian-Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the embassies of the two countries, representatives of Serbia are also present at PDAC, which brought together the world's largest mining companies.
People from that business recognise Serbia as a good place to invest, as it is politically stable and has a completely predictable investment framework and is a country they want to come to and be part of our development projects, Antic said.
The Minister pointed out that there are currently about 160 research fields in Serbia, in which about 100 companies are conducting research, of which more than a third are foreign companies.
Antic also met with Canadian Minister of Natural Resources and Mining Seamus Oregan, with whom he had good talks.
During the meeting, we stated that mining, above all green mining, responsible mining, will make a key contribution to the new world development policies, the Minister said.
Sustainable development, a “green deal“, must all be based on minerals, which will enable the development of these state-of-the-art technologies, he said.
