At today's session, the government of the Republic of Serbia adopted the Trademark Bill, which will introduce into the domestic legislation solutions that have been applied for many years in the national legislations of most European countries.
The proposed solutions establish a more efficient system of trademark protection, provide legal protection to trademark holders in relation to counterfeit goods in transit and enable the use of modern technology.
The government adopted the Bill on Safety and Health at Work, which further aligns this area with the legislation of the European Union, the special conventions of the International Labour Organisation, which our country has ratified, and which meets the real needs, in order to ensure legal certainty and transparency.
At the session, the Bill on special procedures for the projects for construction and reconstruction of line infrastructure facilities of special importance for the Republic of Serbia was also established.
These projects, worth approximately €5 billion, represent line infrastructure facilities that are being built over several tens of kilometers in length and over several thousand cadastral parcels.
In addition to the construction of new state roads, the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the existing five thousand kilometers is planned in order to improve the existing road network, as well as the reconstruction and rehabilitation of public railway infrastructure.
For the treatment of patients with rare diseases, the government provided an additional RSD 150 million, so that the total budget in 2019 intended for their treatment will be RSD 2.15 billion.
