At today's session, the government of the Republic of Serbia adopted the Bill on the Census of Population, Households and Dwellings in 2021, which is the most important statistical source of individual data on the population of a country.
It is envisaged that this census will be the last to be conducted in the traditional way – by direct individual census of all persons, households and apartments, as it is realistic to expect that in the coming period conditions will be created for conducting the census on the basis of registers.
The next census is planned for 2021, in accordance with the already established ten-year practice, as well as with our international obligations.
At the session, the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Financing of Political Activities was adopted, which defines in a more comprehensive way what is meant by an election campaign.
