Head of the Coordinating Centre for Kosovo-Metohija Nebojsa Covic said today that he is convinced that UN Special Representative for the assessment of standards in Kosovo-Metohija, Kai Eide, will be objective and describe the situation in the province as unsatisfactory in the first part of his report.

Covic announced that the Fund for Kosovo-Metohija and Council for Kosovo-Metohija will meet on Friday to analyse the standards and take stands regarding UNMIK’s decree on decentralisation.
According to him, the Decree contains five pilot-projects, two of which apply to the Serb communities in Gracanica and Partes.
Covic explained that the neighbouring villages of Caglavica and Laplje Selo are not allowed to take part in the pilot-projects, which, according to him, represents a punishment for not accepting the inclusion of the villages of Ajvanlija, Susica, and Kisnica to the municipality of Gracanica.
The inclusion of Ajvanlija would reduce the percentage of Serbs in the municipality to between 50 and 55 percent, said Covic.
