Serbia continues to protect its interests and interests of its people in Kosovo

Director of the Office for Kosovo-Metohija Marko Djuric said today that Serbia received the announcement from the governments of the Quint countries, but that it will continue to pursue foreign and domestic policy, primarily in accordance with their interests and those of the people of Kosovo.

At an extraordinary press conference following a statement in which the Quint countries urged Pristina and Belgrade to resume dialogue as soon as possible and stressed that Pristina must abolish fees and Belgrade must suspend its campaign to withdraw Kosovo's recognition of independence, Djuric said it could not be artificial trimmers.

He stressed that those who violate the CEFTA agreement and international treaties and those who defend themselves against the unlawful membership of part of their territory in international organisations cannot be put on an equal footing.

The Director of the Office for Kosovo-Metohija said that the dialogue should resume once the fees are abolished, but also indicated that there is a clear tendency to make some kind of artificial regulation, although there is a clear violation of the CEFTA agreement by Pristina, as well as an unlawful effort to membership in international organisations, contrary to the UN Charter.

Serbia, he stressed, will continue to pursue its internal and foreign policy in Kosovo in accordance with its own interests.
