President Aleksandar Vucic announced today that Japan's Toyo Corporation will invest €390 million in a factory in Indjija only in the first phase, and that it opted for Serbia after three years of negotiations and market research.
At an extraordinary press conference, Vucic pointed out that countries in Central, Eastern and Southern Europe were fighting for the investment of the Japanese corporation, and that only Poland and Serbia remained in the "last round".

It is a great investment, of great importance for our country, which will initially enable the employment of 523 people, who will have significantly higher salaries than the average in Serbia, said Vucic.
