Director of the Serbian government’s Office for Kosovo-Metohija Marko Djuric stated today that units of the Kosovo police ROSU have raided northern Kosovo this morning, the territories of all four municipalities, in order to intimidate the Serbs and cause panic.

Djuric specified that this morning around 6 o’clock, ROSU special units raided the north of Kosovo from three directions in order to create an impossible living atmosphere for the Serbs and added that he has information that several Serbs have been arrested.
He underlined that the separatists from Pristina used the most horrible methods with the consent of a part of the international community and the countries of the Quint although we had been warning them for days that such a scenario and a large-scale arrest of Serbs was being prepared.
According to Djuric, Serbia urged the international community to prevent such a scenario because that represents playing with the peace in the territory of our southern province.
He said that he held talks with several representatives of the international community on behalf of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and that it is clear what the reaction of Serbia will be if this is not stopped immediately.
