After the talks with representatives of Serbs from north Kosovo-Metohija, Vucic said that at the 1 July meeting in Paris he will inform German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron about the response of Serbia to Pristina's anti-civilization and unlawful tariffs, and will also tell them that there will be no continuation of talks about the status of Kosovo until the tariffs are abolished.
He expressed concern over the preparations for the arrests of dozens of Serbs in northern Kosovo and called on representatives of the international community to prevent it.
We ask representatives of the Quint to try and prevent the new provocations of Pristina, which ultimately aim to evict Serbs from the north of Kosovo, Vucic said.
He told reporters that he talked with Kosovo Serbs about important projects in the province, announcing that a regional water supply system for the north of the province will open on St. Vitus Day, which is of great importance for that area.
Vucic also announced the opening of the Sunny Valley residential area and a hotel in Banjska, with accompanying facilities, and added that the agreement was made not to prevent the employment in public institutions in the province any longer, but that reasonable behaviour should be maintained in order not to damage the state budget though.
Director of the Office for Kosovo-Metohija Marko Djuric said that at the meeting it was estimated that the representatives of the Serb List in the recent elections for the mayors of four municipalities in the north of Kosovo achieved a magnificent victory, which shows the unity of Serbs in that area and their inseparable connection with the state of Serbia.
A clear message of this election is that this connection and unity cannot be broken regardless of political, economic and other pressures, Djuric underlined.
