According to the statement, regarding democracy and the rule of law, talks will be held on constitutional issues and the distribution of jurisdiction in the field of democracy, the revision of the constitution of the state members and the Constitutional Charter, the democratic functioning of the assembly and the executive bodies, as well as military reform.
In addition, the statement reads that the reform of the public administration and the process of strengthening of European integration structures on the administrative, governmental and parliamentary level, the co-operation with the Hague tribunal and Resolution 1244, as well as human and minority rights will be included in the agenda.
Technical issues concerning the judiciary system, freedom and security, industry, duties and agriculture, will be discussed through meeting reports of the group sectors. Issues concerning the question about the announcement of the beginning of the negotiations on the stabilisation and association agreement will also be analysed, reads the statement.
Serbia-Montenegrin Minister of International Economic Relations Predrag Ivanovic and Head of the European Directorate for Western Balkans and the European Commission Enlargement Directorate Reinhard Priebe will chair the meeting, and top government officials of Serbia and Montenegro will also attend the meeting.
