The government adopted the Decision on the establishment of the annual Adult Education Plan in the Republic of Serbia for 2019. According to this plan, RSD 529,839,000 is allocated for adult education based on the needs of the labour market and a more rational use of existing educational capacities, bearing in mind the different developmental features of each area.
For the continuation of works on the decoration of St. Sava Temple in Belgrade, the Serbian government approved a grant worth RSD 1,183,000,000 to the Serbian Orthodox Church.
The government also adopted the decision to award money prize to the Paralympics who won medals at the Paralympic World Championships in Antalya in February this year, in discipline taekwondo.
Athlete Bobana Kozic was awarded €25,000 in dinar countervalue for a silver medal at this competition, as well as her coach Aleksandar Golovic. Taekwondo athletes Violeta Todorov and Minja Jandric were awarded €20,000 each in dinar countervalue for a bronze medal at the World Championships in Antalya, as well as their coach Aleksandar Golovic.
Goran Obradovic, the coach of athlete Strahinja Jovancevic who won a bronze medal at the European Athletics Championship in Glasgow, was awarded a cash prize of €10,000 in dinar countervalue.
Several documents were adopted at the session to strengthen the cooperation between Serbia and Hungary in the areas of innovation, transport and infrastructure: the Conclusion on the adoption of the Memorandum of Understanding between the government of the Republic of Serbia and the government of the Republic of Hungary in the field of innovation, Conclusion on determining the basis for concluding a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Innovation and Technology of Hungary on the upgrade of the railway line between Subotica and Szeged.
Also, the Conclusion on determining the basis for concluding a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Innovation and Technology of Hungary on the improvement of the operation of the lock on the Serbian part of the Tisa river was adopted.
