State Union to get €7.5 million under CARDS programme for EU association

Serbia-Montenegrin Minister of International Economic Relations Predrag Ivanovic signed a financial agreement with the European Commission today allocating the country €7.5 million from the CARDS programme for 2005 for support to the process of stabilisation and association with the EU.
The total sum under the 2005 CARDS programme earmarked for the reconstruction, development, and stabilisation of Serbia-Montenegro is €184 million, of which €154.5 is intended for Serbia, €22 million for Montenegro, and €7.5 million for the state union, according to a statement from the SCG Council of Ministers’ press office.
