The average monthly salary in Serbia’s economy in May 2005 was 22,976 dinars, down 3.41 percent in nominal terms and 5.30 percent in real terms against the previous month.
In the non-economic sectors, the average May salary was 28,131 dinars, falling 1.78 percent in nominal terms and 3.71 percent in real terms month-on-month.
The statement went on to say that the average net salary in May was 16,731 dinars. Compared with the previous month, it fell 2.69 percent in nominal terms and 4.60 percent in real terms.
The average net salary in the economy in May was 15,614 dinars, down 3.28 percent in nominal terms and 5.18 percent in real terms compared with the previous month.
The average net salary paid in the non-economic sectors in May fell 1.70 percent in nominal terms and 3.63 percent in real terms month-on-month to 19,220 dinars, according to the statement.
