Fees for the use of public goods, after the adoption of this law, will be introduced only by this regulation, which will provide legal certainty to economic entities.
The government also adopted the Bill on amendments to the Law on personal income tax and the Bill on amendments to the Law on contributions for compulsory social insurance.
The Bill on amendments to the Law on personal income tax provides for the suppression of the gray economy and illegal work of physical persons in catering and tourism in domestic workshops and rural tourism households, of whom one third are estimated to be in the so-called gray zone.
The Bill on amendments to the Law on contributions for compulsory social insurance envisages a reduction in the unemployment insurance contribution rate from 1.5 percent to 0.75 percent. This relieves fiscal burden on the income made by physical persons and reduces the cost of doing business to employers and other payers of income.
The Bill on amendments to the Law on working hours of the employees in road traffic and tachographs, which was adopted today, creates a legal basis for the Agency for Traffic Safety to issue a second generation tachograph card.
The government today adopted the Bill on amendments to the Law on the method of determining the maximum number of employees in the public sector, which extends the validity of this law until 31 December 2019.
The government explained that the reduction of wages, employment ban and rationalisation of the number of employees in the public sector are the measures that contributed most to the reduction of expenditures and the success of fiscal consolidation.
A Decree was adopted that increases the net amount of the awards granted for top contributions to the national culture, i.e. the culture of national minorities from the current RSD 45,000 to RSD 50,000.
