Serbia-Montenegro representatives informed Eide that he will have Belgrade’s full support in this and stressed the importance of security, freedom of movement, safety of property and return, as key standards in Kosovo-Metohija that have not been achieved so far.
Contact Group representatives positively assessed dialogue and the working groups of Belgrade and Pristina and underlined the importance of Serb representatives taking part in the work of interim institutions in Kosovo-Metohija.
Several approaches to decentralisation in Kosovo-Metohija were discussed, including the importance of involving Serbs in those processes, which is very important for the issue of return and overall implementation of standards.
The state delegation, led by Head of the Coordinating Centre for Kosovo-Metohija Nebojsa Covic, included advisors to the Serbia-Montenegrin President, the Serbian President, the Serbian Prime Minister and the state union’s Foreign Minister.
