Following the meeting in Pristina, Dickson said that Belgrade’s representatives agreed that the documentation about the situation in Kosovo-Metohija’s energy sector, prepared by members of the Pristina delegation, had been drafted in a professional manner and that it represented a good basis for talks.
He said that the talks were constructive and added that participants agreed to establish a better pollution control mechanism.
According to Dickson, the talks also covered the issues of hiring in energy companies in the province.
The next meeting of the working group will be held by the end of July, said Dickson.
Direct dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina on energy issues is part of the process of implementing standards for Kosovo-Metohija, defined by the international community.
