Serbian Minister of Interior Dragan Jocic told today the National Council on Cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) that the speculations that have appeared in public are incorrect and that there are no negotiations with Ratko Mladic. Neither the ICTY Prosecutor’s Office nor any other international institution have information on his whereabouts, he added.

The Council concluded that all state bodies should continue with their regular activities for locating all indictees, as well as with fulfilling all international obligations of Serbia-Montenegro, the Council of Ministers’ Information Directorate said in a statement.
The National Council on Cooperation with the ICTY also looked into several questions related to Serbia-Montenegro’s cooperation with the tribunal and approved another 26 of the tribunal’s requests for submitting documentation.
